Our fourth day continued by Bumbleberry Inn graciously allowing us to pick up our breakfast vouchers at 11:00am since we were out before someone was at the front desk. We got an assortment of delicious brunch food from Oscar’s Café and quickly gulped it down in the car before heading out of Zion National Park, and bidding adieu to one of our newfound favorite places.

DESTINATION 3: BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK

We were greeted into Bryce Canyon National Park with cooler weather (it started snowing lol) but incredible sights. For all Disney fans out there, Bryce Canyon is the inspiration behind the Thunder Mountain Railroad ride. That may or may not have been what enticed me to include it in this itinerary ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Pro Tip: If you were unsure about upgrading to the National Park pass, you have the option to pay the difference (if you’re coming from another park) and obtain it! Clearly, we’ve hit two destination and are coining ourselves as *biiiiig nature girls*

 We parked at Sunset Point and walked towards Queen’s Garden Trail. It was an easy ~2 mile hike that got us up close and personal to the hoodoos that make Bryce Canyon so unique. Additionally, from Sunset Point you’re able to see Sinking Ship and Thor’s Hammer.

For our final stop of Bryce Canyon, we drive to Inspiration Point which wasn’t too far away and soaked in the panoramic picturesque views. This national park will definitely require another visit to be able to explore more of its offerings, but we were on a tight schedule and needed to continue our journey to Page, AZ.

 Pro Tip: Be mindful of the weather when you choose your vehicle! My mother was so gracious to allow us to take her precious 4WD mini SUV which truly made our trip so much more enjoyable than it would have been in my old Sedan. And never again will I criticize immigrants’ love for Hondas and Toyotas because the gas mileage was CLUTCH.

This day, November 7th at 9:38am to be exact, was when Sarina received the notification notifying us that JOE BIDEN WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. We were overjoyed to have been near fellow Biden-Harris supporters who joined us in our little mini celebration filled with tears, screams, and true joy (all distant and outside, we were wrapping up our Emerald Pools hike). I would compare it to the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone where the wizards were so happy that the Dark Lord had disappeared. We ended the night at a safe outdoor dining restaurant where we drank margaritas, watched Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s acceptance speeches, and cheered the return in our democracy. A day that none of us will ever forget.
